Evaluation of the investment image of Belarus on the basis of provisions of international ratings

International ratings remain the second most important source after the mass media, where investors find out about the business environment of a foreign state. The Republic of Belarus is only present in the free international ratings. At the same time, Belarus is the only country in Europe, which failed to appear in a number of well-known rankings with a paid participation. For example, Belarus is absent from such popular ratings as the Global Competitiveness Index, World Competitiveness Yearbook, Global Entrepreneurship Index and others. The absence of Belarus in the most popular ratings strengthens investors in the negative perception of it.
