Pension benefits as a component of the social security system

The scientific and expert community of Belarus for a long time has been raising the question of the need for changes in the system of state social insurance. This need comes from the trends of aging population, declining real incomes of some categories of citizens and the preservation of the former system of social benefits, which increase burden on the budget.
