Influence of the regulatory environment on the development of small and medium business in Belarus

This paper studies the opinion of small and medium-sized businesses on the changes that have occurred in the practice of state regulation of their activities over the past year. It also analyses how the government's actions to achieve macroeconomic stabilisation and improve the regulatory environment contributed to removing barriers to the development of private business in Belarus. The analysis is based on the results of a survey of representatives of private small and medium-sized enterprises, which was held in April-May 2017.
