“Poverty Belt” in Belarus: Diagnosis, Perspectives and Policy Implications

The report is divided into 4 parts. In the first one analytical team describes the main directions of the state policy concerning the development of Belarus’ central region. In the parts 2 and 3 CASE Belarus researchers prove the existence of the ‘poverty belt’ around the capital using statistical data and quantitative analysis tools. The fourth part contains conclusions and policy recommendations.
