Attitudes towards people with disabilities in Belarus

The research results suggest that in the public consciousness of Belarusians dominated archaic charity view on disability; Dominates the mass having stable negative stereotypes, both in relation to people with disabilities, as well as within the various social groups. This situation, along with the presence of barriers to the physical environment, - compelling character for entire communities of people with disabilities - paves the way for the formation of additional barriers in the form of discrimination on the inclusion of people with disabilities into society.
