Local government in the Republic of Belarus

This work discusses the issues local government in Belarus. It analyses theoretical foundations of local self-government, the advantages and disadvantages of decentralised self-government, its impact on economic growth, the analysis of the existing system of local government in Belarus, including the search of ways for its improvement.
