What motivates public servants in Belarus: money not important

Formation of high-quality public administration is a key factor in improving the competitiveness of the national economy. As indicated in the strategic program of sustainable development of Belarus for the period up to 2030, one of the challenges to be addressed to improve management and quality of management solutions is increasing the professionalism and prestige of civil service. Orientation of the state apparatus for execution of the new goals and tasks, including extensive interaction with the public on issues of social and economic development is impossible without close attention to motivation of civil servants.
